Concurso literario de baile

Descripción: Bailar tango es compartir un momento. La mayoría de esos momentos se pierden, inevitablemente, en el olvido. Algunos, no obstante, se quedan para siempre con nosotros, escritos en ese libro que llevamos a cuestas: la memoria. ¿Qué hace que un baile sobreviva al paso del tiempo como un tatuaje imborrable? Eso es lo que nos proponemos intentar dilucidar en este juego.

El tango es un lenguaje sin palabras: hay un texto, un contexto y un mensaje que traspasa la literalidad.

Los pasos son el vocabulario que nosotros combinamos con una gramática u orden lógico en función de la música. El texto resultante, el producto generado por ambos, es un poema.

Hay también un contexto, todo lo que rodea el acto de baile: la pista, la música, el disfraz, el juego de miradas, la estrategia de conquista y de rechazo, el modo de abrazar, las emociones que se comparten, y todo el drama representado. Si alguna de estas circunstancias cambia, cambia todo. No bailamos de la misma manera con diferentes orquestas, con diferentes personas, con diferentes emociones, ni siquiera con diferentes zapatos.

Y hay, finalmente, un intercambio. Algo que no decimos con los pies, pero que podemos sentir y trasmitir en el abrazo. Ese es el obsequio que nos llevamos a casa luego de cada baile.

Tango is a language without words: there is a text, a context and a message that goes beyond literality.

The steps are the vocabulary that we combine with a grammar or logical order depending on the music. The resulting text, the product generated by both, is a poem.

There is also a context, everything that surrounds the dance act: the dance floor, the music, the costume, the game of glances, the strategy of conquest and rejection, the way of embracing, the emotions that are associated, and all the drama presented. If any of these circumstances changes, everything changes. We don't dance the same way with different orchestras, with different people, with different emotions, not even with different shoes.

And there is, finally, an exchange. Something that we do not say with our feet, but that we can feel and transmit in the embrace. That is the gift that takes us to a house after each dance.

El abrazo

Escribir una historia basada en alguna de las imágenes sin decir cuál.

¿Qué clase de abrazo es: despedida, reencuentro, danza, duelo…?

¿Porque en ese lugar? ¿Que significado tiene para ellos?

Y la música, ¿describe la situación o es ajena al sentimiento de los personajes y del paisaje?

¿Que les espera después del abrazo?

Write a story based on one of the images without saying which one.

What kind of hug is it: farewell, reunion, dance, duel ...?

Why there? What meaning does it have for them?

And the music, does it describe the situation or is it alien to the feeling of the characters and the landscape?

2.LA danza

Cada participante piensa una palabra que lo represente en este momento.
Luego elige alguien con quién bailar. Toma la palabra de su pareja y utiliza ambas palabras para generar una historia o poema. Cuanto más contrastantes sean las palabras, más interesante será el baile.

"Es necesaria una cierta distancia entre las dos palabras, que una sea suficientemente extraña a la otra, y su unión discretamente insólita, para que la imaginación se ponga en movimiento, buscándoles un parentesco, una situación en que los dos elementos extraños puedan convivir. Es mejor elegir el binomio fantástico con la ayuda de la casualidad. Las palabras ya no se toman en su significado cotidiano, sino liberadas de las cadenas verbales de las que formaban."

Each participant thinks of a word that represents him at this moment. Then choose someone to dance with. Take your partner's word and use both words to generate a story or poem. The more contrasting the words, the more interesting the dance will be. A certain distance between the two words is necessary, that one is strange enough to the other, and their discreetly unusual union, so that the imagination is set in motion, seeking a relationship, a situation in which the two strange elements can coexist. It is better to choose the fantastic pair with the help of chance. Words are no longer taken up in their everyday meaning, but freed from the verbal chains of which they are a part.
